Apply a coat of EOS PRIMER ES with a roller or brush, evenly distributing the\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003efine aggregate it contains and let it dry for at least 24 hours.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eIn case of cementitious screeds, vacuum up all traces of dust and debrits. Apply one or two coats\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eof EOS PRIMER AF diluted with water in a ratio from 1: 3 to 1:8 depending on the absorption of the\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003esubstrate.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003e2. Slowly add the content of a 25 kg bag of ARDESIA FLOOR into 6.5-7.0 liters of clean water, mix\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003ewith a slow speed drill for at least 3 minutes, avoiding the formation of lumps; let the mix rest for\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eabout 5 minutes, remove any undispersed powder from the container and remix briefly. The\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003epigment paste (if used) must be added to the mixing water before mixing the powder. For very\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003edeep colors with pigment paste dosages higher than 250 ml, it is recommended to reduce the\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003emixing water by the same volume of pigment paste used.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003e3. Spread the first leveling coat of ARDESIA FLOOR with a metal trowel, lay the fiber mesh by\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003esqueezing it into the fresh product with the trowel, taking care to overlap it at the joints for at least\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003e5 mm.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003e4. After 24 hours, apply a second layer trying to level and obtain a perfectly homogeneous and\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003esmooth surface.\u003cspan class=\"s2\"\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e5. Spread the last layer of ARDESIA FLOOR to obtain the desired aesthetic effect. It is essential at\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003ethis stage to take great care in smoothing the product, avoiding very high pressure with the trowel\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003e(as usually done with a marmorino coat) which could cause unpleasant imperfections of dark\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eshades.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003e6. After 24-48 hours, sand the product with a vacuum sander, using nr. 120 sandpaper, until the\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003edesired degree of fineness is obtained.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003e7. Vacuum perfectly all traces of dust and processing residue. Clean the entire flooring with a damp\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003ecloth.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003e8. Finish the surface with two coats of EOS LIQUID GLASS or EOS POLYGLOSS at a distance of\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eabout 24 hours from each other.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eAvoid applying the product with relative humidity higher than 80%; do not apply on damp substrates\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eor where it has been ascertained the presence of rising humidity. Assure with a carbide hygrometer\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003ethat the humidity content of the substrate is less than 3% b.w.
